You enjoy drawing for work, whether it's in meetings, workshops, to make (visual) summaries or to illustrate your story or a document. Yet, you feel like your drawing style is not where you want it to be, copied from others and lacking authenticity. If this is the case, this training course is for you!
In the training course 'Characters Drawing', you develop your own character, a more distinct variant than the ‘standard puppet’. How do you quickly draw such a character? And what poses and emotions can you practise so that you master them well?
You will be introduced to some of the techniques involved in drawing figures.
You will learn the do’s and don’ts of ‘characters’/ puppets/ cartoon figures.
You experience what suits you and how you can develop this further.
This training is suitable for:
- Anyone who wants to explore what kind of character style would suit them and wants to develop this further.
- The Business Drawing 1 course is highly recommended, because in this training we do not go into the basics of drawing, but you will learn how to draw more advanced characters.
What do you need to have in terms of technique?
- Obviously, you have to have a computer to watch the training course videos on.
- For the assignments it's up to you whether you want to draw analog or digitally, so:
- Either pens, markers and paper;
- Or a tablet or something with a touchscreen and an electronic pen (drawing with your mouse or finger is not recommended).
